Disordered Eating

Disordered eating behaviors and attitudes can be distressing experiences for clients. Dr. Juleen Buser works with clients to identify and address these beliefs and behaviors around food and body.

 

Dr. Buser uses valid and reliable assessments in order to help clients understand behaviors and beliefs around food and body. She incorporates psychoeducation in this phase of the work.

Dr. Buser uses research-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Narrative Therapy are used to help clients address disordered eating  and work to reduce unhealthy patterns.
